Metallic Epoxy Floor Coating Installation - Oak Point, Texas

In this video I am showing the steps and some of the application of installing a metallic epoxy floor coating. Metallic epoxy is becoming very popular, they are one of a kind floors that are unique to each floor. There are unlimited color combinations so no floor looks exactly a like! Project Description: Metallic Epoxy Floor installed in work shop.

Problem: Wanted to seal up the concrete for easy cleaning and wanted a one of a kind floor.

Solution: Highly decorative Metallic Epoxy floor coating.

Preparation:

The existing floor was raw concrete with a broom finish making it hard to sweep up the loose saw dust. Customer wanted something that was easy to clean but also wanted a show piece floor.

Coating application:

Once the preparation was completed a primer coat was applied and than a black base coat of epoxy. Once the base coat was dry the four colors of metallic epoxy was placed on the floor, squeegeed and back rolled. For an easier to maintain look a satin finish clear was put on as the top coat. Glossy looks great but will dull over time from natural wear and tear. A satin finish looks great and is more maintenance free of the life of the floor.

Summary:

My customer was looking for a easy to clean and attractive floor. They got that with this floor!

Dog kenne epoxy floor coating with logo - Anna, Texas

After I finished the new floor coating my customer wanted to add their logo to the reception area floor to welcome their customers. To achieve this I had a vinyl stencil made which I applied to the floor as a template, added my coating and removed the vinyl for a nice looking logo.

Water containment epoxy floor coating - Allen, Texas

In the Love Joy School they required that the water heater be contained in a small berm in case of a leak so the water was contained and didn't get onto the gym floor on the other side of the wall. The contractor installed 2x6's that I sealed and applied the epoxy coating to along with going up the cinder block wall to keep everything water tight.

They also needed the room where the main water came into through their water filtration system to be water tight as well, to protect the very expensive basketball floor on the other side of the wall. In this room the needed the entire floor coated and up the wall 12 inches in case of the leak and if the drains got plugged.

Epoxy Garage Floor Coatings - Highland Village, TX

My customer wanted a solid color on his garage floor with slip resistance added. As well, where the garage floor steps up to go into the house he wanted a white strip added for extra awareness of the change in elevation.

Medical Center Stairwells - Plano, TX

These stairs were in pretty bad shape from years of abuse. After cleaning off all of the rust the bad areas where repaired with new metal and the metal was coated and the stair treads where resurface to give everything a fresh new look. Here are some before and after photos.

Epoxy floor coating on concrete stairs - Lewisville, Texas

In the lobby area our customer has a steel pan stair case with concrete for the runners. All of the steel was painted a chocolate brown and my customer wanted a nice color to compliment the brown. They went with a bronze color giving the stairs a nice look.

Concrete Staining - Aubrey, Texas

Our customer had carpet and tile and over time the carpet really started to show a lot of wear and tear. They wanted something that would be easier to clean and would stay looking better than the carpet. We tore out the carpet and tile, ground off all of the paint and drywall mud that was left behind by the builder than proceeded to stain. After staining we applied 2 coats of our clear coat which will give our customer a low maintenance surface for many years.

Concrete Repair and Resurfacing - Gainesville, Texas

Our customer had some area around their facility where the concrete was being wore down from the constant use of steel wheels from their dollies moving heavy objects around. The wearing of the concrete was making it difficult to maneuver their dollies. Industrial Epoxy Floor Coating - McKinney, Texas

This is an 18 year old oil and lube shop which was bear concrete. They had applied a seal back when it was built but was all worn down to the concrete. We shot blasted the concrete to remove the surface of the concrete and give us a profile for our coating to bond. We also coated the red steel areas to give the whole floor a fresh look. This customer also had me coat the employee restroom and break room.

Epoxy floor coating with Slip Resistant - Pilot Point, Texas

This customer wanted an easy to clean yet slip resistant floor. We applied our first coat and will the coating was still wet we broadcasted glass beads into the coating. Concrete repair and resurfacing stairs - McKinney, Texas

This is at an apartment complex where the concrete stairs are starting to crack and some have peices broken out. My customer had me clean up the stairs, treat all of the cracks and fix where peice had broken out and than resurfaced each stair to seal them and protect them from the elements.
