Warehouse Floor Epoxy Coating - Irving Texas

Project Description: Concrete Floor Coating In Warehouse 

Problem: My customer is expanding their operation into the warehouse and wanted the floors coated like I did for them in their labs.

Solution: Ground concrete and applied concrete floor coating with our partial flake and clear top coat with slip resistance.

Preparation:

The concrete was ground with 30 grit diamonds to remove all of the dirt and grim and to open the pores of the concrete to except the new coating.

Coating application:

Once the floor was properly prepped I applied the grey base coat material and did a light broadcast of 1/16" flake to add a little decor to the floor. The next day I applied a clear top coat with  glass bead broadcast into it for a little slip resistance.

Summary:

My customer was looking for an easy to clean decorative floor and they where thrilled with the outcome!

Epoxy Garage Floor Coating - Dallas, Texas

Customer had their "handyman" put down a DIY coating on their garage floor and had me come in and do it right!

Project Description: Replacing a DIY garage floor coating

Problem: Existing DIY coating was failing.

Solution: Remove what was left of the DIY coating and replace with commercial grade coating

Preparation:

The concrete was ground to remove the remaining floor paint and to put a proper texture on the concrete for excellent adhesion of the commercial grade coating.

Coating application:

Once the floor was properly prepped I applied a base coat 100% solids epoxy to the floor in tan and broadcast vinyl flake to rejection while the coating was still wet. The next morning the excess flake was vacuumed up off the floor and a high build UV stable top coat was applied.

Summary:

My customer thought they where getting away with a cheaper paint and found out that less than a year later they got what they paid for by letting an inexperience contractor do the work. Instead of being a jack of all trades these contractors need to concentrate on being a master of one.

Epoxy Vinyl Flake Floor Coating - Hickory Creek, Texas

Project Description: Community Pool Restroom Floors.

Problem: Original coating was failing and extremely dirty.

Solution: Highly decorative epoxy flake floor finish.

Preparation:

The existing coating was ground off to preparing the concrete for another coating.

Coating application:

Once the preparation was completed a grey base coating was applied to the concrete and the decorative vinyl flake was applied to the floor. The base coat was allowed to dry overnight. The next day the floor was scraped and vacuumed to remove the loose flake. A clear polysiloxane coating was applied as a top coat for an easy to keep clean finish. The full flake also left a nice texture on the floor to give it some slip resistance since it is at the pool.

Summary:

My customer was looking for a easy to clean and attractive floor. They also needed some with some slip resistance to protect people when walking in to the restroom with wet feet from the pool.

Public restroom floor and walls protected - Gunter, Texas

Project Description: Newly built public restrooms needed a protective finish on floor and walls.

Problem: Protect the walls and floor from daily use.

Solution: Coated the walls and floor with a chemical resistant coating 

Preparation:

The was sanded and the concrete floor was ground and existing plumbing penetrations that were not used anymore where sealed up to create a seamless finish.

Coating application:

I taped off the wall at a 4 foot level and applied two coats of material in a tan color. The floor was taped off up the wall 4 inches and a base coat was applied and a decorative flake was broadcast into the wet coating. The floor was scraped and vacuumed to remove any loose flake and than a clear top coat was applied to lock in the decorative flake. This created a decorative and slip resistant finish since these restrooms were at a ballpark where people could walk in with wet shoes.

Summary:

My customer was looking for a finish that would protect the walls a floor from urine and other abuses in these restrooms. They also where concerned about safety with people walking in with wet shoes so traction was a necessity. The finished product gave them everything they needed.

Industrial Epoxy Floor Coating - McKinney, Texas

This is an 18 year old oil and lube shop which was bear concrete. They had applied a seal back when it was built but was all worn down to the concrete. We shot blasted the concrete to remove the surface of the concrete and give us a profile for our coating to bond. We also coated the red steel areas to give the whole floor a fresh look. This customer also had me coat the employee restroom and break room.

Decorative floor coating in office and bedroom

This customer had a garage that was converted into an office and spare bedroom. It had a paint on the floor along with vinyl tile in another area. They wanted a decorative and durable floor so it would all match and to also be seamless incase of water damage. We ground off the existing paint and scraped off the floor tiles and gave them a decorative finish that is durable and long lasting.

Epoxy Floor Coating Applied To Shower Pan

These customers re-modeled their showers but didn't want to go through the expense of tearing out a perfectly good shower pan and the added expense of hiring a plumber, prepping for tile and re-tiling just to match the new wall tile. We came up with a nice color blend with our decorative flakes and resurfaced the existing shower pan at a fraction of the cost to tear out and tiling.
