Save your tailer fenders from road ware - Aubrey, Texas

Project Description: Coat the fenders on a horse trailer

Problem: Tow vehicle throughs rocks at the tailer fenders chipping the paint

Solution: Coat the fenders of the trailer with a rubberized polyurethane

The surface was sanded and a primer was applied to the surface.

Coating application:
After preparing the surface a rust prohibiting primer was applied to the surface and allowed to dry. Once dry a rubberized polyurethane coating was sprayed on the surface to a desired thickness.

If you are looking for a long term solution to protecting your deteriorating fenders, this process is a great option. Since the product is flexible the rocks just bounce off instead of chipping away at the surface.
